Help inform our statewide public transportation plan!
Connect New Mexico: the NM Statewide Public Transportation Plan will evaluate the needs of New Mexico's rural, urban, and intercity public transportation services. The plan will present transit investment projects and programs for the next ten years
What will this project include?
The plan will identify, define, and prioritize transit programs and investments to fill gaps in the existing network of services across the state. The plan will provide recommendations that align with goals of the state's Long Range Transportation Plan: Safety, Mobility and Accessibility, Program Delivery, and Asset Management.

How can I get involved?
Rider Survey
The rider survey focused on transit riders and members of the public. Responses and feedback will help our project team learn how people currently use public transportation in New Mexico and how it can better serve them in the future. The survey was available online and was also distributed on buses and vans in paper format. Responses were collected between February and April, 2023.
Regional Meetings
We hosted meetings online and in your community during the weeks of April 17 and April 25.
For those that participated – thank you! Similar to the survey, the information and feedback collected during these meetings will help inform our study recommendations.
